Do you take insurance?  No. I am considered an out-of-network provider. Keep reading to find out why this is a good thing! A superbill (like a receipt) can be provided for insurance reimbursement. Many insurance companies have “Out-of-Network” benefits, and after a deductible is met, sessions may be partially covered. This is individual and specific to each plan. If you are wanting to use your insurance, contact the number on the back of your insurance card to discuss your specific reimbursement rate. I do not bill insurances.

How do I pay for therapy and what will this cost? – Forms of payment accepted are: Cash, Check and Card using a HIPPA compliant card process through Simple Practice, my electronic health record system or Ivy Pay. See types of cards listed below.

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • Health Savings Accounts (HSA) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

*I offer a compatible rate for a Master's Level therapist in Washington State.

During your free consultation we can discuss fees, times available, frequency and lengths of sessions.

I have three discounted slots on my caseload. Please feel free to inquire to see if one of those slots are available. I do not carry a wait lists. If for some reason, I am full and cannot accommodate your time slot or if your particular need is outside my scope of practice or specialty or if we are not a good fit, I will help you find another therapist in the area. I will provide three referrals.

Benefits of Private Pay include:

  • Increased confidentiality and privacy.
  • Increased access to care.
  • No Insurance time limits on your services.
  • No need to wait for approval.
  • No requirement of a mental health diagnosis to meet medical necessity.
  • Increased satisfaction for both therapist and client.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, (Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act) health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosuprises or call my office at: (509) 620-1643.
